For learner drivers and the adult in the passenger seat
Practice hours, counted.
Parking, learned.
Log every supervised drive in under a minute once you have parked. Park Weldon adds up the hours, works out the night minutes from sunset in your state, and shows which skills are ready. Free step-by-step lessons take the fear out of parallel parking.
Free to start. Practice Pass $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year: free during preview.
The log
Fifty hours goes faster when you can see it move.
Many states ask a permit holder for a set number of supervised hours, some of them at night. Ohio, for example, asks for 50 hours with 10 at night, counted from half an hour after sunset. Set your own targets; Park Weldon keeps the count for each learner.
- Start and end time, who rode along (a role, never a name), roads and weather
- Night minutes estimated from sunset and sunrise at your state's capital
- A printable hours log to copy onto your state's own form
Example log
hours of 50
How it works
Three stops on the way to a license.
- 01
Drive, park, then log
After the drive, the adult or the learner adds it: times, roads, weather, and how each skill went: needed help, getting there, or on my own.
- 02
Learn the hard moves
Parallel parking, leaving a space, hills and no-parking distances, drawn step by step and checked against state driver manuals.
- 03
See what is ready
The skill road marks a skill ready after two drives in a row rated "on my own", and tells you what to practice next.
Parking lessons, free
Every move, drawn from above.
The skill road
Twelve skills, one road.
From seat-and-mirrors to night driving, in the order most learners meet them. Each drive moves the marker; the next skill to practice is always shown.

Plain facts
What Park Weldon is not.
- Not your DMV or BMV. Your state decides how many hours count, what counts as night and which form to sign. The printout is a tidy copy to transcribe, not an official form.
- Not a driving school. Lessons explain the moves; a licensed adult beside the learner does the teaching.
- Not for the road. No GPS, no tracking, no speed. Fill it in after you park.
- No account, no email. Your log opens with a private link. Learners are a first name or nickname.
